Eastman MD505 – A Model mandolin inspired by the iconic pre-war instruments of the 1930s and ’40s featuring a Solid Hand Carved Spruce top, Solid Maple back & sides, Ebony fingerboard & bridge, 1 3/32″ bone nut, 1 5/8″ string spacing, 13 7/8″ scale length, 12″ fingerboard radius, pearl inlay, Classic Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish, Ivoroid Binding, and hardshell case to keep everything safe & sound. Eastman builds remarkable examples of classic Golden Era instruments at a price that musicians can afford. This mandolin is very clear and balanced with an excellent projection that will cut through any bluegrass jam. The Classic Nitro finish and figured maple back & sides make it as pleasing to the eyes as it is to the ears. The mandolin pictured is the exact instrument that is for sale.
