Featuring an Alaskan Sitka Spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a 25.5" scale, 1 23/32" nut, Schaller tuners and forward scalloped bracing make this a must have guitar for any player. Drawing on Dana’s nearly half-century of lutherie experience, the Touchstone Series is designed to deliver a legendary Bourgeois tone and build quality to a broader range of players. The all-new Touchstone Series guitars feature Old-Growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce tops and Adirondack Spruce braces harvested from deep in our backyard, selected and hand-voiced in Lewiston, Maine, by Dana Bourgeois and his team. Using Dana's renowned system of hand voicing, all Touchstone Series soundboards are optimized for tonal excellence by a team of skilled luthiers right here in Maine. The back and sides of the Touchstone Vintage/TS are made with carefully selected mahogany and assembled by the talented craftsmen at Eastman Music. Each specialized step is performed by hand to bring out the beauty and tonal complexity of your Dreadnaught. The guitar pictured is the exact instrument that is for sale.
