Custom G-70 with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with a highly figured Alaskan Bearclaw Sitka spruce top. The body, fretboard and headcap are bound with Macassar ebony. The binding is accentuated with a line of Osage Orange on the side and top of the binding. The top is outlined with Abalone shell purfling. The rosette is also Macassar ebony with an Abalone shell ring. The bridge and fretboard are ebony. The back is braced with an X-brace pattern. The fretboard has Gallagher’s “Ragtime” inlay pattern of Abalone shell squares, snowflake and cat eyes. The headcap is Brazilian rosewood with Abalone shell for the Gallagher “G” and Bellflower inlay. The neck is mahogany with a C profile. The tuners are Schaller GranTune open gear tuners with ebony knobs. This guitar is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer to a gloss finish. This guitar has the powerful sound you’d expect from Gallagher Guitars. The tone is extremely well balanced with thundering lows, punchy mids and clear highs. The guitar sounds amazing whether you want to flatpick, strum or finger pick. This guitar can do anything, and look fantastic while it does. Hardshell case included.
