Gallagher Ragtime Special - The Ragtime Special was built in 1978 for a customer that wanted a Jazz/Ragtime guitar. This auditorium-size guitar features mahogany back and sides, Sitka spruce top, voiced top bracing, zig zag backstrip, herringbone purfling and soundhole rosette. The body, fretboard and headstock are bound in tortoiseshell. The fretboard and bridge are ebony. The fretboard has abalone diamond inlay and the headstock features abalone G and bellflower inlay with Waverly chrome open gear tuners. The standard nut width is 1-¾”. The Ragtime Special has been Gallagher’s best-selling small body guitar since its inception.
