Lowden’s 12 Fret model is based on their S size body. Whilst the scale length (630mm) remains the same as the regular 14 fret S model, the bridge has been relocated and the soundbox uniquely voiced to create a guitar that offers something different to anything else in the Lowden range. Featuring Walnut back and sides with a Cedar top, this guitar is like no other guitar you’ve ever played. The nut is a comfortable 1.713 in, sitting nicely between 1 3/4 and 1 11/16. The five piece neck of mahogany and rosewood is absolutely stunning, not to mention the beautiful figured sycamore binding to tie it all together.
