Inside, proprietary C-Class bracing architecture, a cantilevered, asymmetrical design informed by our patented V-Class bracing, articulates the soundboard in a unique way to coax a level of low-end warmth not typically possible from a small-bodied acoustic, along with impressive volume and sustain.
To encourage a more relaxed playing experience, the GT was designed with a scale length of 24-?”, which approximates the easier feel of a full-size guitar tuned down a half step from standard. This makes holding notes and chords much easier, helping bring the musical benefits of this affordable all-solid-wood guitar to an audience that includes players of all levels of ability. The choice of scale length makes GT guitars feel as though they’re strung with lighter, .11-gauge strings while still delivering the tonal power of a heavier string on a larger guitar. The fret spacing has also been reduced with the scale length, creating the effect of bringing your hands closer together and making the guitar easier to play.
