1959 Gibson ES-335

1959 Gibson ES335 - Vintage original ES335 with OHC. This is an all original, unmolested, one owner ES335 that came from the daughter of the original owner. Weighing in at 8lbs the guitar has been extremely well cared for and not had any repairs or modifications with the exception of replacement Kluson tuners which were replaced after the original tuner buttons crumbled. The original tuners are included in the case pocket with the original truss rod wrench. The guitar was made in late Spring of 1959 with the legendary fat neck, and thin top. It was lovingly played and cared for with light to medium fret wear, no repairs, modifications, significant dings or imperfections. This condition is very rare for late 50’s 335, and the cleanest we have ever seen. I would rate its condition as excellent, or 9.5 out of 10.To find an example of this guitar that hasn’t been abused, or doesn’t smell of booze, and cigarette smoke is like finding a unicorn. It plays beautifully and would be a prized piece for any player or collector. The guitar pictured is the exact instrument that is for sale and available at our store showroom in Warrenton, Virginia.
