Eastman MDA815 (USED) - This a beautiful mandola made by Eastman. Featuring the usual culprits of maple back and sides with a solid spruce top, this mandola has a 16” scale, a bone 1 11/32” nut, 12” fingerboard radius, abalone inlay with flower pot and nickel hardware. With this mandola, you can get those low gritty tones for a bluesy number or soften up for a lighter piece. Either way you want to go this is an extremely versatile instrument that is just loads of fun to play. You can’t find newer ones in this finish anymore. This instrument is used, so please take note of a few scratches and dings particularly by the tailpiece, the bass f hole and especially the piece missing from the headstock. If you don’t mind the few cosmetic issues this will be an instrument that can last you a lifetime. The mandolin pictured is the exact instrument that is for sale.
